It all started back in August 1999 when an add was placed in a newspaper wanting girls to form an all girl group. There were thousands of people that replied to the add from all around Australia. To make this add even more special it was made into a tv show called "Popstars" which is currently still airing. (Only until April 30th) Each episode went through who got into the next round and who was sent home. It kept us all waiting and watching until finally the 5 Popstars were named.. which are now known as Bardot. Jackie O, Michael Napthali, and Chris Moss had the hard job of going through the thousands of hopefuls to find the 5 amazingly talented girls.

Before the girls were told they were in the group they went through what I would say was a very nerve wracking 2 week wait while the three judges chose the lucky "popstars". The judges then had to go to all of the girls to let them know if they were in or not.... 5 were in and 5 were not. Once all this was out of the way it was off to the girls new home. They would be living together in a house, to see how they got along together and obviously to get to know each other better.

From then on it had been very full on for the girls.. fitting in a very hectic schedule.

The girls debut song "Poison" is being released on April 10th, and I believe it is going to be a HUGE hit. Go girls!
